My friends and I were in Manila for 3 days. We always looked around for a fun and new place to eat at. Then, my fiance say this restaurant called Iceberg. So we ate there. Here were the items that we enjoyed.
This one is a rootbeer that my fiance enjoyed. They added a cream or a mousse on top so it gave a creamy feel into it. However, it's not really a special soda. But I'm not saying that it's bad. It's fine for a rootbeer.
If you know me, I love spaghetti so much. When I ordered for this, I had to ask the crew first if how their spaghetti actually tastes. Coming home from the USA, ugh, many restaurants there serve spaghetti with a very sour taste. Which is not really my preference. They mentioned that it's actually sweet. So without any doubt, I ordered it and enjoyed it a lot.
The cheese that they sprinkled on top of it was not an ordinary sweet cheese actually. I forgot how it was called. Anyway, it was successful in staying as a Filipino spaghetti with a different sweetness for its identity.
Working as a crew in McDonald's in USA, I serve a lot of parfaits to the Americans. They like it a lot. It's cream with some blueberry on top. I had to clarify it to the crew once again, if their parfait is actually a cream. She said it was just an ice cream. Which is okay. But then, I guess, they should have just labelled it as an ice cream and not parfait. Anyway, this bunch tastes really well. I'm glad I didn't order blackforest parfait which the crew said was their bestseller. I had the mango parfait. Ooh la la ! It was so good.
So this was my Iceberg Experience. I hope you enjoyed and thank you so much for reading!
